The Sufi Verses were being recited in presence of
Shehzada E Aalmi Mubaligh E Islam Pir Syed Ahsan Shah Sharafat Naushahi & Sahibzada Pir Syed Hassan Shah Azhar Naushahi.
Globally well known Sufi Shaykh Pir Saqib Iqbal Shaame Sahib & Allama Pir Syed Ghulam Dasthagir Shah Sahib were also present at the auspicious ceremony.
Saqib Iqbal Shaami born in Azad Kashmir, better known as Pir Saqib Shaami to his followers, is a British Pakistani Sunni Islamic scholar and preacher from Birmingham, England. He is a follower of Chishti sufi order, known for his organization Kanzul Huda, a non profit organization dedicated to helping the Muslim community.
Hadhrat Siraj ul Arifeen Shaykh ul Islam Allama Maulana Shaykh Syed Maroof Hussain Shah Sahib Arif Qadiri Naushahi Hh was the Convenor & Founder of the World Islamic Mission (WIM) and Jamiyat Tabligh-ul-Islam (JTI).
Fondly known as Pir Sahib by his disciples and admirers, passed away July 17, 2024 and his funeral prayer took place on Friday at 7:15 pm.
Regarding his death, the senior reporter of the Telegraph and Argus Rowan Newman wrote “Tributes have been flooding in for a man whose influence and guidance touched countless lives in Bradford”. The pioneer of the Masajid movement that he started in Bradford but quickly spread throughout the UK and Europe. Naz Shah MP (Bradford West) said he was an ‘instrumental leader’ whose efforts for the local community are ‘unmatched’. Zulfiqar Karim the former High Sheriff of West Yorkshire said “we are expecting more than 15,000 people at his funeral at the iconic Westgate Central Mosque, in the city centre area of Bradford on Friday at 7:15 pm”.
