The Sufi Centre Rabbaniyya, previously known as Sufi Centre Berlin, is under the guidance of the Sufi-Master Sheikh Eşref Efendi and represents a community of the Naqshbandi Sufi Order in Germany.
In 2003, the Sufi Centre Berlin was established in Reuterstrasse, Neukoelln, by the Naqshbandi Sufi Order and its leader, Sheikh Eşref Efendi. Later, in 2008, the center relocated to Wissmannstrasse 20, also in Neukoelln, and in 2010 it was renamed the Sufi Centre Rabbaniyya.
After the passing of the order’s Grandmaster, Maulana Sheikh Nazim el Rabbani, in 2014, the group underwent restructuring. Subsequently, the center in Berlin was closed, and a new one was established in Cologne. Additionally, the group relocated to “sufiland” in Eigeltingen-Reute (Lake Constance), where a new center was inaugurated.
The Sufi Centre is a gathering place for about 500 people who come together for sohbets (spiritual speeches/addresses) and dhikrs (spiritual chanting), or livestream the events.
