Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.
Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
A‘ūdhu biLlāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ
(Qur’ān 04:59).
‘’Ya Ayyuha l-Lladheena Aamanu Aṭiū’ Llāha wa aṭiū’ r-Rasūla wa Ūli l-‘Amri minkum’’
‘’O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.’’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “You must obey.” Those who believe should obey Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, our Holy Prophet ﷺ and Ūli l-‘Amr, the authorized people above you. People who do this will be in comfort. If they do according to their own minds, they create problems to themselves. And there is no benefit.
Obedience must be first of all to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and to our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Convey his ﷺ orders. And as long as Ūli l-‘Amr, the authorized people above you don’t tell you to be in Kufr, there is benefit in obeying them. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has given them quality and character according to that. Not everyone can do that. Everyone must mind his own business and not interfere in others’ business. As long as we live in this world, everyone will go on his way. If that way is the way shown by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, they will reach salvation. If they do according to their own minds, they may or may not be saved.
Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying that one of the signs of the end of times is
إِعْجَاب َكُل ِ ذِي رَأْى ٍ بِرَأْيِهِ
“Everyone admires his own opinion.” – Everyone likes his own idea and doesn’t like others’ ideas. This is what democracy is. You can say it openly. What is it? It is not to make people happy but to make them unhappy. If you live on in obedience, you won’t cause a headache to yourself. But if you say “I am like this. I used to do like this. I do like that. I don’t like it,” your whole life will pass with problems and you won’t have any benefit. Otherwise, if you leave worldly matters to worldly people, Allah ﷻ has put people above you who serve for you. There are people who should deal with it.You must deal with yourself and lead a Halal life. You will go to Akhirah well then. Otherwise, there will be no benefit at all. May Allah ﷻ make us from the obeying ones. Obedience means the obedience to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Who obeys his ego will always have problems and a bad end. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ help people do these good things. People nowadays think the more they disobey, the better it is. People are harming themselves and harming others.
May Allah ﷻ protect us from the evil of our egos.
