Islam is the most spreading religion across the globe, reports PEW research center. It influenced the world more extensively than many other religions throughout the world with guidance (emphasize compassion, justice and charity) of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Muḥammad (PBUH) is revered as the final messenger of God and seems the earthly embodiment of the primordial divine light (Nūr), who conveyed the eternal word (The Qur’ān) of Allah (SWT).
Prophet Muhammad’s(SAW) birthday is considered an important and auspicious day amongst Muslims. Muslims commemorate this day, which is also known as “Prophet’s Day” or “Milad Un Nabi” by sending their blessings to Prophet Muhammad with recitations of praises and blessings.
Commemorating the auspicious day, Prophet Muhammad’s(SAW) Birthday Memorial Scholarship Fund Board formed at Singapore in 1965, also known as the Lembaga Biasiswa Kenangan Maulud. This Fund Board is perhaps the only authority arranging annual scholarship in this aspect.
