An anti Islamic google news alert exposed this news, published on en.mehrnews.com is a part of the Mehr Media Group, which includes the Mehr News agency and Iran’s highly popular international daily, The Tehran Times, most provably, is one of the primary sources for news in Iran.
Following allegations of promoting extremism and radical Islamic ideology, the German government has taken the decision to close the Islamic Center of Hamburg (IZH) and its affiliated organizations nationwide. This action was accompanied by police raids on 53 properties linked to the IZH in eight German states, resulting in asset seizures and the closure of four mosques. The ban also encompasses the IZH’s subgroups in Frankfurt, Munich, and Berlin.
In a press release on Wednesday, German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser stated that the Islamic Center Hamburg was banned for its “pursuing radical Islamist objectives.” She also informed, the police were conducting searches at the famous ‘Blue Mosque,’ operated by the IZH.
