The Auto Care Association recently announced this remarkable accomplishment of Women in Auto Care.
In addition to the financial assistance, Women in Auto Care will be presenting the scholarship recipients with an Industry Swag Box, thoughtfully curated to introduce them to the organization and showcase prominent companies within the automotive aftermarket. This gesture aims to familiarize the recipients with the industry and foster a sense of community and belonging.
Furthermore, Women in Auto Care has launched monthly virtual Connection Circles to provide the scholarship winners with the chance to connect with peers and receive mentorship from experienced female technicians and instructors, with the goal of supporting continuous professional growth and networking opportunities for their career success.
The success of this year’s scholarship program is a testament to the unwavering support and generosity of Women in Auto Care’s community sponsors and member contributions. Over the past year, Women in Auto Care has expanded its scholarship program by collaborating with Garage Gurus, awarding five $7,000 scholarships totaling $35,000. Additionally, a $10,000 scholarship was granted through a partnership with Dorman. Moreover, through partnerships with NAPA and Acuity, toolkits valued at $8,700 and $3,000 were respectively distributed. These collaborations illustrate Women in Auto Care’s dedication to championing diversity, excellence, and innovation within the auto care industry.
