AN ORDER TO NOT BE ENEMIES: Shaykh Adil ar-Rabbani

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā,Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ
(Qur’ān 49:10).
‘‘Innama l-mu’minūna ikhwa fa-‘aslihu bayna akhawaykum’’
‘’The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers.’’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is ordering Muslims to have goodness between each other. If there is animosity between Muslim brothers, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to reconcile them so that their situations are good. Otherwise, Islam orders love. The order is as such that Muslims should love each other. It is ordered in Hadiths and Qur’an ’Azimu sh-Shan.
There must not be enmity between Muslims. If there is enmity between Muslims, there will be Fitnah, and it won’t be good.

The religion of Islam orders love and affection. It doesn’t order enmity. It prohibits enmity. In order not to be enemies with each other, since the time of our Holy Prophetﷺ until now, this way, the way of Tariqah is the way for that, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. You must love whom Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla loves. And we should make Dua to Allah ﷻ for those whom He ﷻ doesn’t love so that they improve insha’Allah. Because we can’t love those whom Allah ﷻ doesn’t love. But we should not be enemies to those on the way of Allah ﷻ

We pray that they improve. Shaytan has been cheating people since the time of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ ٱلْعَدَٰوَةَ وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ
‘’Innamā Yurīdu sh-Shaytānu ‘an Yūqi’a Baynakumu l-Adāwata wa l-Baghda’a’’

‘’Shaytan only wants to cause between you enmity and hatred.’’ (Qur’ān 05:91), says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in Ayati Karimah. Shaytan wants you to be enemies, to hate each other and not love. All his striving is for that. That is his duty until Qiyamah. And he is going on with his duty. He is doing his duty. And you must do your duty. What is your duty? Your duty is to be against him and to do the opposite of what he orders. If you do the opposite, you will do what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says. And that will bring you great virtues. The plots of shaytan will go in vain.

Everything he does and strives for will be in vain. But if you do what he says, shaytan will be very pleased. He will be very happy saying, “I’ve sent someone to hell once again.”

Therefore, we should not do what he wants. We must strive in order not to have
enmity, Fitnah and corruption between us. During the time of the Ottomans, they did it
and got along with everyone well. Muslims, non-Muslims, Christians, Jews, Persians and Magians; they got along with all of them. Allah ﷻ helped them. And they did it with justice.

As long as you are on the way of Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ helps you. May Allah ﷻ help all of us insha’Allah. May we not fall into Fitnah insha’Allah. Fitnah is beloved by shaytan.

May we do what is beloved by Allah ﷻ insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ make us all successful.
