Its a famous story between Hazrat Khawaja Abdul Kareem رضي الله عنه of Eidgah Sharif and Our 6th Grandfather, Hazrat Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz Pir Syed Ghulam Haider Ali Shah Badsha Jalalpuri رضي الله عنه .
Mawlana Fazal Ahmed reports that once a man came to Hazrat Hafiz Abdul Kareem رضي الله عنه . He wanted to take Bayt (Oath of Allegiance) and
Hazrat Saab said to him “You already have done Bayt why do you want to renew it?”
He replied, “No, I have not done Bayt before”.
Upon hearing this Hafiz Abdul Kareem was enraged and said, “You are lying, you are a mureed of Pir Syed Ghulam Haider Ali Shah Jalalpuri, why have you turned away from him? Go back and repent”.
He was told to leave, and afterward Hafiz Abdul Kareem Saab explained, “I was wondering where he was from when suddenly Pir Syed Ghulam Haider Ali Shah Jalalpuri appeared before me and told me that “He is a renegade and not to accept him!”.
