Khwaja Muhammad Baqi Billah (Q)’s Teaching Reached Millions

The Shaykh Khwaja Muhammad Baqi Billah (Q) was born in Kabul. His his original name is Razi-ud-Din Muhammad Baqi. He is famously known as Baqi Billah ق. His father Qazi Abdus Salam Samarqandi ق  was a judge, scholar and saint.

Hajrath Khwaja Baqi Billah ق travelled across the Indian Sub-Continent seeking knowledge until he met his spiritual master Khwaja Muhammad al-Amkanaki ق. Hajrath Al-Amkanaki passed away in 1599 AD and buried at Samarqand in Uzbekisatan.

 

 

His Shaykh initiated him into the Naqshbandi tariqah and authorised him to teach and guide the people. He was ordered to travel to India in order to spread the teachings and was told, “You are going to have a follower who will be like the sun.” This would be Imam-e-Rabbani Ahmad al-Faruqi as-Sirhindi ق.

In India he settled in Delhi where his resting place is now located. He influenced many people and they accepted the religion of Islam. It is said that, his teachings reached millions of people.

The 14th of Jumada al Akhir marks the URS of Khwaja Muhammad Baqi Billah ق.

May Allah ﷻ sanctify his secret and grant us the love of his Awliya.
