PPL Foundation aimed to award $1 million as scholarships among female and minority students. Students of Trade and technical schools or developing careers in engineering and information technology can apply for this.
PPL Foundation’s newly launched Powering a Bright Future scholarship program will provide $100,000 annually through the following tow categories:
- 15 scholarships worth $5,000 each will be awarded to students pursuing engineering or information technology degrees at a college or university.
- 10 scholarships worth $2,500 each will be awarded to students in career training at a community college or technical school.
The scholarship program also open to includes non-traditional students, such as adult learners as well as those in need of funding in later years of their educational career.
