“Gathering under the ‘tent of unity’”: Interfaith in PNG finds new path

leaders and representatives of the diverse religious communities of Papua New Guinea (PNG) gathered under a tent in the peaceful environs of Papua New Guinea’s Port Moresby’s nature park. Last Monday achieved that, they had long hoped for: to gather in unity around what binds them all together.

Bahai community organised this gathering among many faith communities in the country. The interfaith gathering marked World Religion Day 17 January as well.

The idea for the event was suggested by the Bahá’ís of PNG last month so, it came true as a harmonic afford with the country’s religious leaders.
