This is the resting place of the son of Sayyiduna Khalid ibn Walid (the Sword of Allah). He fought battle after battle but was never defeated due to the blessings of the Prophet’s hair ﷺ.
RasoolAllah ﷺ went to battle for us, he migrated for us, he was injured for us, he wept for us, he experienced days without food for us, he prayed for us, he stood at night for us. But he never said, ‘I did you a favour.’ That’s the character of Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ. When people say, “I love you” they normally mean that they either love your eyes, your smile, your beauty, your humour, your fame or your wealth. When RasoolAllah ﷺ says that he loves you, he means that no matter what you look like and no matter what has happened in the past, you’re eternally his. That’s the beauty of Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ.
