ORS Festival of Hajrath Moulana Sayed Salequr Rahman Shah Rahe Bhanderi

Rahe Bhander Information Desk:There going to be observed an ORS Festival on tomorrow December 21^st at the Rahe Bhander Raja Nagar Dorbar Sharif in Rangunia, Chittagong.

Rahe Bhander is the name of a well followed Universal Sufi Order in the South Asian Subcontinents. Though, it is an extended part of the Mizbhander in fact, the mainstream of Sufism but it was named as apart by the founder the Universal Sufi Saint; Saheb Al-Ojud Al-Quran; Hajrath Moulana Sayed Salequr Rahman Shah Rahebhander (1848- 1968). May, Allah accept his holiness.
Among hundreds, he was one of the most Illuminated Spiritual Apostle (Khalifa/ Successor) of Gaus Al-Azam; Hajrath Moulana Sayed Ahmed Ullah Maizbhanderi (1826- 1906). May, Allah accept his holiness. The Sufi Master named him, ‘Dulha’ (the blessed son) at the very first meeting.Hajrath Moulana Sayed Salequr Rahman Shah Rahebhanderi was ordained by his Sufi Master as saying that, ‘Doria ki Ous-par, Girja ki Samne Admioko Methai Khilao’ Means, Let you feed sweet to the people in front of the church alongside the river. He started to initiate people (Biayath) since 1895. Somehow, according to this ordainment of own Sufi Master, he reached at Yangon (Rangoon) and established his first Sufi center in 1916. Laterly, he returned from Yangon to Chittagong forever.

On December 22, 1968 Corresponding Poush 7, 1373 of Bengali calendar year, he passed away leaving a numbers of successors and thousands of Sufi disciples and followers there at Bangladesh, Myanmar, India and many other part of the world. He visited many countries. His youngest daughter proclaimed that, he had an apostle named Yousuf Momca of Belgium too with whom, he visited the United States of America once in his last days.This Sufi festival is going to be observed in highly religious aspect to commemorate his disappearance ceremony. Every year hundreds of Sufi Followers get together from different part of the region and perform prayer for whole day and night.This year in an addition there going to be inaugurated some media presentations.
